Changes to the Island's organ donation laws will be considered by Tynwald this month.
Members will be asked to approve Daniel's Law - introduced in memory of Daniel Boyde, who saved four lives through organ donation after losing his life in a car crash.
The new rules would mean people are automatically assumed to agree to organ donation unless they opt out.
If approved, the new codes of practice and secondary legislation will take effect from January 1 next year.
