A yellow weather warning is currently in place on Island, with an amber warning also set to come into force later.
A warning for snow, ice and coastal overtopping is in effect until 2pm this afternoon, with a secondary warning for snow in place from midday until 6am tomorrow morning.
The Ronaldsway Met Office says snow is likely to become persistent across the Island, along with strong to near gale force winds.
The risk of disruption to travel, and possibly network services, has been listed as 'high.'
As a result, schools across the Island will remain closed today.
The Mountain Road from the Creg ny Baa to the Ramsey Hairpin, including the Tholt Y Will and Bienn Y Phott roads, have also been closed until midday tomorrow.
Further, today's 8:45am and 2:15pm sailings have been cancelled, with an announcement on this evening's journey to be made by 5:30pm.
Manx Care has also announced that all outpatient appointments this afternoon will not go ahead - you can find more information here.
