Two people were rescued last night after getting stranded on the Tower of Refuge.
Douglas Lifeboat was called into action after they got cut off by the incoming tide at around 8.20pm.
The inflatable dinghy was launched as the boat was unable to get close enough to Conister Rock because of the tides.
The two people were then transferred to the lifeboat and then into the care of the coastguard.
There were no reports of any injuries.
