A deemster could order the company behind the so-called "Big Grid" in Douglas to be wound up next week.
Around five years ago, Duke Street Commercial Limited won permission to demolish the former KFC in the capital and replace it with shops and flats.
However, work stalled with the development still unfinished and the Royal Bank of Scotland International applied for the company to be wound up.
That application will be decided at a hearing in Douglas Courthouse on Friday, November 13 from 12.30pm
