Drug seizure in Castletown area
Arrests have been on the island following a suspected heroin seizure. Two men were arrested in the Castletown area on Wednesday in connection with alleged drugs offences. A quantity of what is believed to be the class A controlled drug has been seized with a street value of £28,000.00.
A 35year old man from the Liverpool area has been charged with producing the drug to the island and will appear in Court at 10am on Saturday morning.
A 41 year old male from the south of the island remains under arrest and is assisting police with enquiries.
