Two of the Island's lifeboats were involved in a rescue yesterday.
Douglas and Port St Mary lifeboats were called into action when a boat reported being in distress and drifting towards land with one person aboard.
As the weather and sea conditions worsened, crews found the boat and towed her back to Douglas.
Nobody was thought to be hurt during the incident.
