Two lemurs have died as a result of a fire at Curraghs Wildlife Park.
Just before midnight yesterday, a fire completely destroyed the park’s new lemur enclosure.
Although two lemurs were rescued, two were initially presumed missing – but the park has now confirmed that the bodies of Georgia and Nina, who were sisters have been found within the enclosure.
It’s thought the fire started because of an electrical failure.
