A historic chapel at an Island landmark could be getting a huge restoration, if planners give the project the go-ahead.
Bishopscourt owners David and Ann Giroux have applied for permission to carry out work to the private chapel in the grounds, which dates back almost 200 years.
In their application they say they want to reinstate missing fittings and features, and carry out other work to allow the Chapel to be used for services again.
The restoration would see improvements to the chapel's floor, walls and roof as well as work to restore the altar.
