Tributes paid to 'real community figure'

Tributes are being paid to a rugby club stalwart well-known for his work in the community in Peel.

Nigel Rawlinson died suddenly this week, sparking an outpouring of grief from well-wishers.

Western Vikings rugby club described the former player as 'a real community figure with a great sense of humour'.

On Facebook, the club said its thoughts are with his family and friends.
