An Island man helping to defuse mines and explosives in Ukraine has been killed.
Chris Garrett of Peel had been helping Ukrainian forces for more than 10 years.
He was killed on Tuesday while clearing a Russian minefield in eastern Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
He'd won medals for his service and was sentenced in absentia to more than 14 years in jail by a court in Russian-occupied Donetsk.
