Police have dipped their flags today in memory of a police surgeon who served with the constabulary for half a century.
Dr Philip Christian died on Sunday.
Today, police stations around the Isle of Man are flying their flags at half-mast as a mark of respect.
Chief Constable Gary Roberts described Dr Christian as "a wonderful man and a great public servant".
Our flags are flying at half mast as a mark of respect for Dr Philip Christian, a police surgeon for 50yrs, who died suddenly on Sunday. He was a wonderful man and a great public servant. Our thoughts are with his sister, Phyllis, and the rest of the family.
