Tributes paid to Coroner for Middle

Tributes have been paid to the Coroner for Middle Ken Quilleash who died on Monday.

At Douglas Courthouse yesterday Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes described him as a well-known figure who always earned his coroner's fee.

She said he was a colourful character who was always ready with a story and sent condolences to his family on behalf of the Courts of Justice.

Mr Quilleash's funeral will take place next Thursday at Trinity Church in Douglas.
