Tributes paid to brothers found dead in Bolton

Torin and Jacque Lakeman were found dead on Monday

Staff and students at Castle Rushen High School are paying tribute to two brothers who were found dead in Bolton.

Torin and Jacques Lakeman were ex-students of the school - they were found above a pub on Monday.

20-year-old Jacques has been described as an intelligent and talented student with a "wicked sense of humour" - he'd recently left the Island to live in the UK.

His younger brother Torin, who was 19 and studying at Aberystwyth University, was described as a lively student who was popular with both staff and his peers.

The Department of Education and Children says the effect on the whole school community has been more pronounced as their mother is a long standing foreign languages teacher at the school.

A post-mortem examination on the two men was due to take place yesterday - police say there are no suspicious circumstances.
