Trial for trio accused of scrapping in street

Three men will stand trial after denying disturbing the peace by fighting in the street in Douglas.

27-year-old Richard Fowler, 32-year-old Carl Bridson and 29-year-old Mark Galbraith appeared at Douglas Courthouse this week. 
 
The Douglas men entered not guilty pleas to an offence of affray during their appearance before the Deputy High Bailiff. 
 
They're accused of fighting each other on Cushag Road on the evening of August 16th. 
 
Committal proceedings - where the case will be elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery - will take place on November 1st. 
 
Richard Fowler and Carl Bridson were bailed until that date - Mark Galbraith was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until his next appearance on October 4th when he will appear by live link.
