29-year-old Umut Demir, of Loch Promenade in Douglas, appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday.
He also denied an offence of affray - both offences were allegedly committed at Star Grill & Pizza on Marina Road on November 23rd.
A pre-trial review will take place on January 31st - he's been bailed until that date.
