A Douglas man will stand trial after denying assaulting a woman at his home.
33-year-old Cesar Maia, from Broadway, appeared at Douglas Courthouse last week.
He entered not guilty pleas to assaulting the woman on December 21st last year and on January 20th this year.
A pre-trial review will take place on March 28th - he's been bailed in the meantime.
Update: Mr Maia was handed a 12-month Binding Over Order. The charges were withdrawn.
