The trial of the police officer accused of causing the death of a Manx student by dangerous driving will get underway today.
Jamie Haslett died after he was involved in a collision with a police car in Sheffield back in October 2010.
The popular former St Ninian's pupil was a student at Sheffield's Hallam University.
Following an investigation by the Independent Police Complaints Commission a 42 year old police constable was charged with causing death by careless driving.
The trial is taking place at Bradford Crown Court.
