Tree planting in the East Baldwin valley has now finished, in what Manx Wildlife Trust's calling a major milestone.
The three year community project at Creg y Cowin has seen more than 20,000 native trees planted across a 107 acre site.
MWT says the new temperate rainforest has restored one of the Island's rarest habitats.
The charity adds the nature reserve is expected to improve water quality and reduce flood risk downriver in Douglas.
