The Treasury is staying tight-lipped about how much it's charged for card payments - because the information is commercially confidential.
A Freedom of Information request asked about its agreement with WorldPay, which processes online card payments on government websites.
After confirming it has a rolling one-year contract with the company, the Treasury said it couldn't give details of how much each transaction costs.
It says revealing the details would affect the commercial interests of both the government and the company.
