The Treasury Minister will be asked to make a statement in the House of Keys about the ongoing dispute between the Steam Packet and its crew.
Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas will ask Dr Alex Allinson to address the proposed changes to terms and conditions and the ballot for industrial action.
Trade union Nautilus International says industrial action and disruption to services is increasingly likely, as the Steam Packet has threatened members with fire and rehire.
The group has also outlined its intention to meet with the Treasury Minister and has urged the government to get involved as disruption to the Island is possible.
