Numerous traffic management measures will be in place in Douglas from tomorrow as several road layouts are changed.
The Department of Infrastructure is starting work on Sunday ahead of Douglas Promenade returning to two-way traffic from next Tuesday (September 8) and a controversial bus and cycle lane on Glencrutchery Road being removed.
Three-way traffic lights will be in place at Governor's Dip for vehicles travelling to and from Onchan and the Mountain Road.
Meanwhile, access to Victoria Road will be restricted between Noon and 6pm tomorrow with diversion signs in place.
Temporary traffic management will be in place at Glencrutchery Road while DOI teams work to remove the bus and cycle lane.
Officials are asking motorists to give themselves extra time for journeys during the works and are thanking residents for their patience.
