An Island resident has been cautioned after selling counterfeit goods on the internet.
The trader applied well known trademarks to the goods - which were mainly stickers and cigarette lighters - and operated from his home address.
He sold the goods - which infringed trademarks of motorcycle manufacturers, football clubs and even the TT trademark - on eBay and through a website.
The Office of Fair Trading is warning online sellers that anyone found guilty of this offence can be liable for a substantial fine and or a lengthy prison sentence.
