Hotels are opening for this year’s holiday season much earlier than usual according to the Tourism Division.
It comes following a major push to attract visitors in what is commonly viewed as the ‘off season’.
Dark skies tourism and walking and cycling excursions are ensuring that visitor numbers are being kept steady during the quieter months.
Head of tourism Angela Bryne says the main drive has been to establish the Island as a year round destination:
MHK to present immigration petition to Tynwald
Injured walker rescued from Snaefell
Town centre road shut for five days this week
Royal Assent for laws giving parents and carers more rights
New cafe opens in iconic former pub
Have your say on the Island's childcare
Service to be held for long-serving RNLI volunteer
Road in south to shut for cat's eyes installation
