An actor who was raised on the Isle of Man and worked on fishing boats here is in the running for a top acting award.
Francis Magee has been nominated for an Irish Film and Television Award for his portrayal of Bren in the gangland drama Kin.
He's up for the prestigious Best Lead Actor in a Drama Award.
The awards will be presented at the RDS Concert Hall in Dublin on April 20.
