A local woman honoured on the Queen's 2017 Honours list says she never did any of her work expecting to be recognised or rewarded.
Olga Gray has been volunteering, raising money and getting involved in the Manx community for more than 50 years.
Olga says she was brought up on the philosophy that it's better to give than to receive and has done just that through amateur theatre, drama groups for the disabled, and helping to raised more than £1.5m for Breakthrough Breast Cancer Isle of Man.
Olga says she thinks the Manx community is a caring and loving one which needs to be encouraged:
