The government's revealed it employs almost 5,000 people on zero-hour contracts.
A Freedom of Information request asked how many part-time and zero hour workers there were in government.
In its response, the Cabinet Office said it couldn't give figures for the judiciary, Manx Heritage Foundation, coroners, Tynwald and the Lieutenant Governor.
But it said part-time staff numbered 2,538 - and 4,927 people were on zero-hour contracts.
