Those Who Trespass Private Land Could Face Prosecution

Warning To Motorcyclists

Members of the public are being warned not to use fields off Jonny Watterson lane for motorcycling and other motorised sports.

Douglas council and the police have joined forces to urge people that the land is privately owned, anybody on it is trespassing and could face prosecution.

It causes disturbance and noise pollution to local residents and people visiting the cemetery near by.

More signs and security measures are to be put in place.

In addition, police and Byelaws Enforcement Officers will be monitoring the area and reporting offenders.
