Police in Ramsey say a thief who stole a Poppy Appeal charity box has committed "a crime against the whole community".
The Royal British Legion collection was taken from a business on West Quay between 10.30am and 12pm yesterday.
The money being raised would have gone to help the families of serving members of the forces as well as veterans.
