The Island's secure unit for children has seen 47 admissions so far this year - up 67 per cent on last year's figure.
Onchan MHK Julie Edge asked a question for written answer to Justice and Home Affairs Minister Jane Poole-Wilson about the number of children in living the secure care home since 2016.
The figures show just eight children were behind 30 of this year's admissions - with one admitted eight times in total.
38 admissions were for youngsters on remand, six to serve custodial sentences and two were on welfare grounds.
