Manx meat should be returning to the shelves in Tesco in the very near future.
That’s according to Isle of Man Meats which says agreement in principle has been gained by the retailer to resume the supply.
In February Tesco pulled the plug on stocking local meat at the Lake Road store after an unsatisfactory audit of the meat plant.
No official restart date has yet been agreed but it’s believed Isle of Man Meats has resolved all outstanding technical issues and is just waiting for final confirmation of specifications.
