Tesco's announced it's to scrap plastic carrier bags from next week.
Signs in the store on Lake Road in Douglas say it'll stop handing out the bags from August 28.
The Manx Wildlife Trust, which recently urged the Island to cut back plastic bags, says it's delighted.
