Tesco has applied for retrospective planning permission for a Click and Collect area in Douglas.
The facility at its Lake Road store features a double canopy over it as well as parking spaces for customers.
The company, based in Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire, says it will improve the customer experience and enhance the site's operational efficiency.
In its application, it says the area would also have bollards and paint markings to improve safety.
