RHA Termination Stalled for Six Months For More Permanent Solution to be Sought
Chief Minister Tony Brown has shocked Tynwald this afternoon by announcing a six month reprieve in the ending of the Reciprocal Health Agreement.
It comes on the day that the public packed out the House both inside and out in protest to the Agreement being allowed to end.
This now means that the Public will not need Health Insurance Cover to travel to the UK for at least another 6 months.
Health Secretary for the UK Andy Burnham broke the news to the Chief Minister earlier this afternoon, the announcement was met by cheers from the packed public gallery.
