Social housing tenants in the north of the Island are being given more choice about where they want to live.
A shared waiting list for housing has been set up between the Department of Infrastructure and authorities in Ramsey, Ballaugh, Jurby, Bride, Andreas, Lezayre and Maughold.
The Northern Area Housing Working Group will introduce the list and joint allocation process with applicants then able to request which area they want to live in.
Ramsey Town Commissioners says the partnership will 'help to transform the housing allocation process' and allow a better response to supply and demand.
Last year a similar scheme was set up in the south of the Island.
