The justice and home affairs minister says there are currently 10 long-term prisoners from off-Island in Jurby.
Jane Poole Wilson gave the figure in response to a Tynwald question for written reply from Rushen MHK Juan Watterson.
She added a total 21 of long-term inmates from the prison had been transferred off-Island over the past three years.
Mrs Poole-Wilson says transfers to the UK are limited to one prisoner per month, due to the problems with prison capacity across.
