The Treasury Minister says a temporary hike in income tax to fund healthcare may not be temporary after all.
In his last budget, Dr Alex Allinson announced a two per cent rise in the higher rate of tax to pay for health services.
But he faced questions in the House of Keys this week about when the tax rise would be reversed.
Dr Allinson said it probably wouldn't be next year:
