Douglas is to get a temporary lifeboat as the RNLI considers its future in the island's capital.
The service's current building is coming to the end of its useful life and lifeboat crews have been using a berth in the port as it talks to government about possible replacement sites.
Now, the RNLI says it's completed a review into the future of Douglas and will introduce a Trent class all-weather lifeboat.
It'll serve the Island as discussions continue with the Department of Infrastructure over a formal licence for its berth.
