A proposed government strategy looking to put the Island 'at the forefront of telecoms innovation' will go before Tynwald this month.
The National Telecommunications Strategy has been put together by the Department for Enterprise.
Enterprise Minister, Laurence Skelly, says the Programme for Government 'highlights our need to be a digital Island'.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister, Howard Quayle, says access to global telecoms networks 'are essential for our social and economic prosperity'.
