Bus Vannin says strike action will mean no school buses next week.
In an update about its plans, it says it's unable to deliver stand-alone school services because of reduced staffing levels during the 10-day strike by drivers over wages and changes to holidays and sick pay.
Students will be able to use their Go Cards on electric trams between Douglas and Ramsey.
The organisation says trams will be met by buses at Douglas Station to take students into the city centre and schools.
