A teenager’s appeared in court accused of burgling a Peel supermarket and stealing champagne.
Morgan John Ritchie of Derby Road in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
He denies burglary at Shoprite in Michael Street on July 11.
The court heard he’s alleged to have smashed a window in the early hours of the morning before making off with alcohol.
Mrs Hughes granted bail and the 17 year old will appear in court again on November 12.
