A teenager accused of assaulting a police officer has been bailed to appear in court again next month.
Lee Jake Sheppard of St Mary’s Avenue in Port St Mary appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 18 year old previously admitted being drunk and disorderly in Market Square in Castletown on August 6, but pleaded not guilty to assaulting the officer on the same date.
He was bailed in the sum of £500 to appear in court again for a pre-trial review hearing on October 27.
