A court’s heard a Douglas teenager is alleged to have terrified a householder with a knife and nunchucks after throwing a brick through a glass door in the middle of the night.
Sam Walker of Castlemona Avenue appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
He hasn’t yet entered pleas to charges of affray, criminal damage and a public order offence on November 14 and 15.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the hearing the 19 year old is alleged to have smashed the door in Saddle Mews just before midnight on November 14, running away when a man in the property grabbed a shovel to defend himself.
Mr Walker is then said to have smashed a car windscreen and slashed all four of its tyres as it was parked in Albany Road.
Mrs Hughes bailed him in the sum of £500 on condition he lives at Manannan Court and obeys a 10pm to 6am curfew.
He’ll appear in court again on December 17.
