A teenaged biker has been fined after admitting careless riding on the Mountain Road.
19 year old Nathan Reid, of Victoria Road, Castletown, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The hearing was told an off-duty police officer spotted him on his KTM Duke 125 overtaking cars on April 27.
He had to pull back in sharply at the Creg ny Baa to avoid an oncoming vehicle.
Reid was fined £650 and had five penalty points put on his licence.
