An unemployed teenager from Colby who sold drugs to make money has pleaded guilty to six drug offences.
18-year-old Jacob William Brand, of Ballakillowey Road, appeared at Douglas Courthouse earlier this week.
Police executed a warrant at his girlfriend's home in Michael Street in Peel on March 24th and uncovered a haul of substances.
Officers searched the bedroom and a rooftop terrace area, accessible through the bedroom window, finding drugs hidden in the guttering and in a thermos flask - drug paraphernalia was also recovered.
Brand was arrested and taken to Police Headquarters where he was searched - further drugs were found hidden in his underwear.
In total officers recovered 63 ecstasy tablets, MDMA powder weighing 2.47 grams and 21.8 grams of cannabis.
In interview Brand admitted he was selling the drugs to make money but said some were for his own personal use.
During his court hearing on Tuesday Brand pleaded guilty to supplying Class A and Class B substances and three charges of possession of the drugs; he also admitted possession with intent to supply.
Brand was committed for sentence at the Court of General Gaol Delivery - he's been bailed until his next appearance on May 5th.
