Residents in Peel say they've contacted police after toxic powder was spread along a street to discourage seagulls.
Members of a local Facebook group say the incident happened on Charles Street at the weekend.
They reported cleaning powder had been spread along the picturesque pedestrian street, which currently has a fledgling gull living in it.
Dozens of people criticized the move, saying it could poison pets.
