Health Minister Claire Christian says the number of people registered with Island GPs has risen by 1.7 per cent in the last three years.
She faced a question for written reply from Onchan MHK Julie Edge about the figures.
In her response, she said in 2022, practices had 88,596 registered patients - compared to 90,112 in April.
The biggest increase came at the prison, which saw patients rise from 49 three years ago to 163 this year.
