Members of three teaching unions will meet today to discuss the next steps in their dispute with the Department of Education, Sport & Culture.
Earlier this month, members of NAHT, NASUWT and ASCL - which represent around 75 per cent of Manx teachers - voted in favour of industrial action over the ongoing disagreement on pay and conditions.
The meeting takes place at 4.30pm at Braddan Church and a recent joint statement from the organisations says the gathering will be used to draw up a joint timetable for action.
The DESC has previously reiterated it 'recognises the commitment and dedication of all teachers' and is 'committed to an ongoing dialogue' with the unions.
