The Teachers' Union is urging the Manx government to invest in their pay.
NASUWT has submitted a pay claim arguing teachers must be given a substantial, above inflation pay award.
The claim highlights that the pay of Manx teachers has fallen by almost 30% since 2010 and warns of possible recruitment and retention issues if pay levels aren't addressed.
Dr Patrick Roach, NASUWT General Secretary, says salaries have been eroded during a period when workload has increased exponentially an when more and more is expected of teachers.
