A secondary school teacher is the latest to be nominated for election to the Legislative Council.
Conor Keenan, who teaches at Ramsey Grammar School, is the seventh candidate to be put forward for a LegCo seat.
He was nominated by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.
Mr Keenan, who was seconded by Onchan MHK Rob Callister, is also president of the National Education Union.
