A taxi driver accused of killing a Douglas pensioner and leaving the scene has been remanded in custody.
David Evans of Tynwald Street in Douglas appeared before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
The 65 year old hasn’t yet entered pleas to charges of failing to stop after an accident, failing to report an accident, causing death by careless driving and committing an act against public justice in March.
There was no bail application and he was remanded to the prison until his next court appearance on May 26.
